Melissa’s Organic Dried Tomatoes have an intense flavor, chewy texture as well as long shelf life.
Harvested at the peak of goodness during the summer growing seasons, these organic tomatoes are stemmed and pre-washed.
Then they are dried slowly under heat for 24 hours.
It takes approximately 7 lbs. of fresh to make 1 lb. of dried tomatoes. Use for home-made pasta sauce, soups, stews, meat, chicken, pasta or casseroles.
